Casting trips
On the casting trip, we go fishing for pike from the best locations in the Lake Päijänne and Lake Vesijärvi areas.
On the casting trips we use pike shads, jerks, large wobbler spoons and throwing flies, as well as spinnerbaits, on the fishing trip. Sometimes, when the fish isn’t so interested, a large pike can also accept smaller spoons and spinnerbaits.
Pike angling is focused on spring and autumn. The season starts right after the lake is freed from the ice. In the fall, we fish until December. If the early winter is warm, we have been on the water even at the beginning of January.
